To be eligible for active membership, the candidate shall have achieved distinction in a peripheral vascular field by meritorious contributions to the knowledge of vascular disease, or by certification in vascular surgery, or by excellence in and commitment to vascular surgery practice. Applicants must be Board eligible in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
General surgery residents accepted into an accredited vascular surgery training program, vascular surgery residents in accredited vascular surgery training programs and vascular surgery physicians graduated from accredited vascular surgery training programs who do not yet meet qualifications for active membership can apply for candidate membership.
Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, vascular sonographers, podiatrists and doctorate scientists who have completed appropriate training programs and whose clinical or research activities are focused on vascular disease can apply for associate membership.
All applications and supporting materials must be submitted by August 1 to be processed and considered for membership.
Your completed application must be accompanied by a letter of support from your sponsor, as well as your Curriculum Vitae.
